| VKSF besök hos Cecilia
En vacker dag sommaren 2000 åkte ett gäng ur Västsvenska kaktus- och suckulentföreningen till Cecilia (som också är medlem) för att beskåda hennes fina kaktusamling.
Mitt minne av denna dag är ett leende. Det var skitkul att se alla dessa kaktusar. Man blir helt enkelt glad, tänk er det!
Cecilia ses till vänster och hennes magnifika kaktusväxthus i mitten.

Visit of VKSF at Cecilia's
A beautiful day in the summer 2000 a bunch of members from The cactus- and succulent society of West Sweden visited Cecilia (also a member) in order to look at her nice cacti collection.
My recollection of this particular day is a smile. It was fun to see all of these cacti. You get simply happy, picture that!
Cecilia is at the left and her magnificent greenhouse i the middle.

| Här ser vi ett antal personer som är djupt försjunkna i granskning och beundran.
Växthuset har en rabatt med elvärme och hyllor för krukor.

The greenhouse has a flowerbed which is electrical heated and shelves filled with pots.

Here are the shelves which are filled with pots. Most of the cacti are very well-grown despite the fact that they are fertilized. They are not tormented with lack of nourishment and water. |

| Här har vi hyllorna som är fyllda med krukor. De flesta kaktusar är mycket välväxta trots att de är "gödda". De är allstå inte så plågade med lite näring och lite vatten. |

At the right we can see the "junk" which in fact was very fine species for sale. This day was not bad for her. She sold for at least 500 kr (50 dollar).

In the boxes at right there were a number Opuntia gracilis which I bought for my outdoor experiment.

| Till höger ser vi skräpet, utrenset som i själva verket är toppenfina exemplar till försäljning. Denna dag blev inte så tokig för hennes del. Hon sålde säkert för minst 500 kr. Cecilia ses till vänster.
I dessa lådor fanns det ett antal Opuntia gracilis som jag köpte för mitt utomhusexperiment.
